Ryan Reynolds stars as the adorable title gumshoe of the family-friendly action comedy “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu,” based in the hit video games.
Ryan Reynolds is giving his own gin company four stars.
The “Deadpool” actor, 42, hilariously crafted a fake Amazon review for Aviation American Gin under the pseudonym Champ Nightengale, writing that he “loved” and “hated” the alcohol.
“As soon as I tried the Gin I knew right away, it was amazing,” Nightengale wrote. “It was the smoothest Gin I’d ever tried and went down really easily.”
The review took an unexpected turn when Nightengale recalled a night of overindulging, adding that he hopes the company will “provide some kind of warning about how much you’re supposed to have.”
“When I woke up the next day, I mentioned to my wife Linda that last night must have been a REAL blowout because I slept in my clothes,” he wrote. “I also noticed it was really hard to look out the window at the Seattle skyline. Partly because of the bright sun (I’ve always been sensitive to light) but also because I don’t live in Seattle. I live in Coral Gables, Florida. Also, it’s important to note, until that morning, I’d never met anyone named Linda.”
Reynolds, who bought the American spirit company in February 2018, shared his testimony on Instagram Sunday. “I loved this review of Aviation Gin someone sent me after I wrote it,” he captioned the post.

Reynolds’ fake review may have fooled some Amazon users, but he couldn’t pull a fast one on his own mother.
“Ahhhh…. yes… I thought I heard my son’s voice in that narrative!” Tammy Reynolds commented. He quipped, “Mom, you say that about every episode of CSI Miami.”
Now we are just waiting on Reynolds’ master-trolling wife, Blake Lively, to comment.
