Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will chat live with National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci on Instagram Live on Thursday, the two-time MVP announced today.

“Hyped to talk all things COVID-19 with Dr. Fauci of the @NIAIDNews tomorrow,” Curry wrote. “This is a conversation for YOU so submit questions with #SCASKSFAUCI and join at 10am PT tomorrow (Mar 26). Let’s get it!”

Last week, Curry and his wife, Ayesha, donated 1,000 meals for Oakland Unified School District students who rely on free or reduced-priced meals. Steph also posted a video to his various social media accounts earlier this month advocating for individuals to practice social distancing.

In addition to his role with the NIH, Fauci is a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force and a frequent presence in President Donald Trump’s near-daily press briefings. In an effort to connect with the youths, Fauci recently went on the Barstool sports podcast “Pardon My Take,” espousing tips on preventing the spread of the virus.

“One thing we do know is that this virus really likes to spread in crowded places, the efficiency of spread is amplified when there is a lot of person-to-person contact,” Fauci told the “Pardon My Take” hosts. “So one of the real weapons you have to try and contain the virus is physically separate people as inconvenient as that is, you have to do at least for awhile to try and stay ahead of the viral spread.”

The chat will be hosted on Curry’s Instagram at 10 a.m. PST Thursday.
