Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes were the top two vote-getters in the first round of Pro Bowl voting last week.

They remained the top two in the second round of voting returns:

The entire top five has remained the same, though Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce leapfrogged New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley to move into third place overall.

There weren’t any surprises among the top five.

The 23-year-old Jefferson is having an another ascendant season, catching 81 passes for 1,232 yards in five touchdowns. He’s second in both receptions and receiving yards, trailing Hill—who has 87 catches for 1,233 yards and four touchdowns on the year—in both categories.

Jefferson is headed for his third Pro Bowl in as many seasons, an incredibly impressive start to his career. Oh, and he already has catch of the year honors wrapped up, too:

He’s been a huge part of the 9-2 start for the Vikings, who trail only the Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) in the NFC.

Mahomes, 27, is already a four-time Pro Bowler, one-time champion and one-time MVP, and he’s living up to the incredibly high standards he’s set in 2022. He leads the nfl in passing yards (3,585) and passing touchdowns (29), is second in QBR (77.4) and has the 9-2 Chiefs humming along.

Mahomes is the current front-runner to win his second MVP, though Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has made it an interesting race.

One of the beneficiaries of Mahomes’ stellar play has been Kelce, whose 73 receptions and 912 receiving yards lead all tight ends and whose 12 receiving touchdowns lead all nfl players regardless of position.

Finally, the 25-year-old Barkley has had a resurgent campaign, rushing for 992 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 35 receptions for 223 yards. After two straight disappointing seasons—with injuries playing a big role—Barkley once again looks like one of the top running backs in football.

The Pro Bowl this season will ditch its past format of a tackle football game in favor of a series of skill competitions that culminates in an AFC vs. NFC flag football matchup.
