Poco has now launched its latest mid-range, the Poco X3 NFC. The Poco X3 NFC has its sights aimed right at the OnePlus Nord and delivers on the hardware with a 120 Hz display, Snapdragon 732G, quad-rear camera setup, and massive 5160 mAh battery—all at a starting price point of €229.
After weeks of teasers, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, has finally launched its newest device, the Poco X3. The Poco X3—officially referred to as the Poco X3 NFC—is a direct response to the OnePlus Nord and has the honor of being Poco’s first truly original phone since the wildly successful Poco F1 that was released two years ago.
The Poco X3 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz LCD with 240 Hz touch sensitivity. Perhaps an AMOLED would’ve been better but Xiaomi seems to be keeping that for its pricier offerings. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 732G, Qualcomm’s latest mid-range gaming-oriented chipset. 6 GB of RAM is LPDDR4X RAM is standard, but UFS 2.1 storage can be had at 64 GB or 128 GB.
At the back of the Poco X3 is a quad-camera setup. It’s really just a dual-camera setup, as the 64 MP main camera and 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera are joined by 2 MP depth and macro sensors. At the front is a 20 MP camera housed within a hole punch.
Power is gotten from a big 5160 mAh battery, with 33 W fast-charging to keep things quick. There’s a dual-speaker setup—not front-firing, interestingly—and a 3.5mm headphone jack to keep the enthusiast crowd happy. The fingerprint reader is mounted at the side, and the device is rated at IP53.
The Poco X3 NFC will be available in Shadow Gray or Cobalt Blue. It’s priced at €229 and €269 for the 64 GB and 128 GB models respectively. Sales begin on September 8, with early adopters being able to snag units at €199 or €249 for the two storage tiers.
